Don't be fishy!
So the other day after church I was starving but instead of brunch I pleaded for some fresh food and the energy to cook dinner last night. I made it and sis was on a budget so no crab, live grab just some fresh fish, fresh greens and red potatoes. Yah girl was HUNGRY. They were actually reasonable with their prices and I even got some steak (thanks AJ) to cook later this week! Or tomorrow it's marinating in some love honeeeyyy.
I must say since I got over my flu, lost (-_-) weight, my appetite has grown but I'm super picky about what I eat even though I will eat 2-3 small meals and one big meal a day.
I honestly am giving up on main stream supermarkets and can tell if I'm eating to be stuffed or well fed with nutrients and good flavors, It's probably been my vibe this whole time and after being sick my body saying this temple is the only one you have don't feed it no trash.
Whatever the case I was never a McDonalds person but recently, I'm H- MART< Amazon fresh or Safeway if they have deals on organic produce. Adulting is ghetto but one thing I won't be feeding myself is low vi... bad food. I've even cut down on any candy/chocolate which at night when that sweet tooth starts I silently hate...
I'm not even going to say this is a 2023 thing it's just an updated and reformed lifestyle, but trust it's a long journey ahead and I'm still praying on patience and humility.
Sunday nights dinner, ( I forgot regular vegetable oil and still fried my fish with extra virgin olive oil and butter.) Chiillllleeee, it was still crunchy and flavorful but I'm not sure if it was not making it to the plate in one piece because it was too juicy or too big, it still hit.
